Welcome to Floral ltée
Gaston Charbonneau was born in 1931 in Saint-Martin (Laval), Quebec. A gardener, market gardener, and florist from father to son, Gaston grew up on his father's land. In 1954, he settled on his land in Sainte-Dorothée (Laval). In 1962, the great adventure began. Gaston Charbonneau then founded the company Charbonneau Floral ltée, a company specializing in soil packaging and horticultural accessories, including the production of flower and vegetable seedlings in boxes. At that time, the first to work in this industry in Quebec traveled the roads to ensure that his products were known and available everywhere in the cities and villages of Quebec and the Maritimes. Quickly, the company expanded, and its products were found on the shelves of more than 10,000 sales points in Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritimes, including hardware stores, grocery stores, large retailers, florists, and nurseries.
